Help and treatment for Alcohol Abuse and Alcohol Dependence with CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy

Alcohol Abuse and Alcohol Dependence helped and treated with CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy at the Carterton Therapy Practice providing effective brief therapy for Alcohol Abuse and Alcohol Dependence using CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy.

Treatment for alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence varies widely, ranging from AA to simple relaxation and meditation techniques. Whilst no single approach is foolproof, the 'talking therapies' do help you to talk, and so express the feelings and emotions of the causes of your alcohol use.

Harry offers a combination therapy programme for alcohol abuse. The programme uses Hypno-Analysis, Self-Hypnosis/Relaxation techniques and CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Your treatment programme is in three parts. Part one and two are always undertaken with part three being initiated only when and if you think it would be beneficial to you. Treatment is undertaken as follows:

  • Part one and two of the programme is a course of treatment lasting for 30 or more sessions, with two sessions per week for the first 4 weeks then, one session per week for the next 22 or more weeks.
  • Part three of the programme is a course of treatment lasting for 6 or more sessions, with one session per month.

CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy can help you to resolve the emotional conflicts that are causing the problem. These are nothing more than bottled up emotions and so once found and released, the symptom itself then dissolves.
